Julio Balmaceda ha desarrollado a lo largo de los años un personal estilo de baile. En varias ocasiones fue jurado del Campeonato Mundial organizado por el Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Resulta interesante conversar con él sobre la categoría tango salón de dicho certamen.
¿Ha cambiado en algo lo que la gente considera como tango salón? El hecho de que exista un campeonato mundial de tango, hace que los potenciales participantes se pregunten acerca de la faceta social de este género.

Julio Balmaceda has developed a personal dance style throughout time. In many occasions he was a juror at the World Tango Championships organized by the government of the city of Buenos Aires.
It is interesting to chat with him about the "tango salón" category in those competitions. The fact that there is a world tango championship pushes the competitors to think about the social aspects of the dance.
